Tapas, Tapas, and more Tapas!

The tapas and food in Seville, Spain were THAT good, I felt it deserved it's own blog entry. I am a 'foodie' and while Moroccan food can be tasty....I'm sorry to say it does not compare to Spanish cuisine. The tapas were out of control filled with deliciousness. The variety was incredible.....the tiny portions gave you just enough to be satisfied and allowed you to order 2 or 3 and not feel like a total pig. Of course it was accompanied with fine wine, and sometimes beer. After being away from this kind of food for over a  month we were in complete heaven.....and I believe made some moaning noises while eating them. lol

Stuffed Mushrooms with chopped Ham
Yup!!! HAM!!! Something not found too easily in Marrakech.

Salads and Stuffed Potatoes....(had some meat in it with gravy on top)

Fried Chicken bites and Spanish potato salad with a dill sauce
Fried Cod with potato sticks (reminded me of the ones from the package way back when) still yummy!

Need I describe this?
Annie A. said it was Ridiculous!!!!

I think potato something....Liz said it was good.

Filled with brie and raspberry....can't even talk about it.

I believe a cold tomato soup with bacon bits and cheese

For the record I did not eat all of these.....I just photographed a bunch as they were coming out. lol

Potato Croquettes

Egg with some meat on the bottom

Scallop Yumminess....

Vegetable Quiche sorta of....holy crap, SO good!

I think another veggie quiche sort of

OK....This was Top Notch!!!!
Pork Ribs in a honey sauce over potato slices.....meat fell off the bone!!!!
I miss pork. I do.

Pork in a dill sauce

Pork Tenderloin in a gorgonzola sauce....I think we all went pork crazy.

Chocolate Goodness!!!

So I read the book Eat Pray Love.....and if I were to make a comparison of my 2 year journey so far I would say Spain was her Italy. :)
I will be back. I def will be back.

However next month will be Portugal. Hope the food is good!
